Zachary Tinkle to Race New Smyrna Speedway World Series of Asphalt / “Speedweeks”
Tinkle Family Racing is pleased to announce that Zachary Tinkle will field his #53 pro late model at the 55th Annual NASCAR® World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna, Florida. This event is also termed “Speedweeks” by many in the racing community.
The NASCAR World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing pro late model races run nightly from February 5, 2021 to February 12, 2021 with one night off on Monday, February 8th. A practice day is slated for Thursday, February 4th.
Tinkle has been busy in the off season getting ready for this event by focusing on his physical training and nutrition. He has also spent countless hours behind the wheel online with his simulator and spent a weekend in California testing with the BMR Drivers Academy created by NASCAR/ ARCA team Bill McAnally Racing. He views the long days and nights of racing as a lot of experience in a short amount of time, providing a great opportunity to hone his skills for the Midwest race season that starts in April.
Zachary commented, “I’m really looking forward to racing at Speedweeks. Going to New Smyrna Speedway has been at the top of my list for the past couple years. We’re finally in a position to make it happen. It’s going to be an amazing opportunity for me with my crew chief, Gary Estes, and the team. My goal is to finish every race and learn as much as I can to get ready for the full regular race season.”
