Tinkle Family Racing is pleased to announce that they are retaining the services of Stagger Pro Motorsports for the 2021 season for Zachary Tinkle’s late model schedule. Tinkle started working with Stagger Pro Motorsports mid-season in 2020 in a complete team reset. Stagger Pro Motorsports did car maintenance, set-up, transportation, and trackside support. Additionally, Gary Estes will continue as Zachary’s crew chief.
Most recently, Tinkle along with Stagger Pro Motorsports and crew chief Gary Estes participated in the NASCAR® Speedweeks at New Smyrna Speedway in Florida. While there, Zachary and the team accomplished several goals including bringing both pro late model cars home in one piece. Tinkle finished 7th in the World Series of Asphalt Racing championship. The team bonded both on and off the track and are looking forward to testing and racing soon.
In thinking about the upcoming season, Zachary Tinkle commented, “I’m really excited about the 2021 season. We had a good run down in Florida with the Stagger Pro Motorsports team and I can’t wait to get back to the track and continue the momentum that we started down there. I’m also looking forward to the opportunity to work more with my crew chief, Gary. I’ve learned so much from him and know he has a lot more to teach me.”
Derrick Layne of Stagger Pro Motorsports reflected, “Zachary has been a pleasure to work with since day one. He was in a tough spot last year mid-season and we were able to keep him up and running to finish the season out. We had fast cars and Zachary did an excellent job, but the bad luck continued thru the rest of the season. This winter we were able to regroup and get off to a good start down at Speedweeks where Zachary completed all but just a few laps due to a flat tire. He showed plenty of speed and was able to run with some of the best all week. We’re looking forward to working with him for the full 2021 season.”
Tinkle currently plans on racing in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars pro late model tour in the 2021 season. Any additional race plans will be announced as they are finalized.
