Zachary Tinkle and his team went to New Smyrna Speedway with the goal of learning as much as they can during the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.

Zachary went out and qualified 14th , which is where he started in the race. He maintained position and advanced. A couple positions when a caution came out just before half way through the race.

On the restart, Tinkle went up to 11th position. With the green flag running until the end of the 35-lap race, Zachary finished 13th – surviving his first race of the series with the car in one piece.

Zachary commented that he had been learning a lot between practice day and the first day of racing and he felt good about improving his time when it came to qualifying and finishing the race.
