The air was crisp as teams arrived to Flat Rock Speedway on Saturday May 20, 2023 with a slight chance of rain for the Dutch Boy 150 in the ARCA Menards Series East. But, the weather held out for the historic race as ARCA had not raced there in decades.
Tinkle was in the #11 NASCAR® Foundation NASCAR GIveathon car for Fast Track Racing with Todd Parrott crew chiefing and Andy Hillenburg spotting. In practice, Tinkle was seventh overall and came in sixth in qualifying. This was his best qualifying effort overall in the ARCA Menards Series.
There were no breaks planned during this race although the caution flag came out three times. After moving up and down the field a couple spots on restarts, Tinkle finished the race in 6th place.
With this performance, Tinkle is now ranked 5th in Championship points.
